West Kelowna Plumbing (formerly Westbank Plumbing) was started back in 1991 when Greg Hellyer moved his young family from Saskatoon to Westbank in search of better opportunity.
In its earlier years, the company was comprised of only Greg and his brother Mick who were kept busy doing odd jobs and residential construction. As the housing market in Westbank began to grow, so did West Kelowna Plumbing.
In 2002, Greg’s son Jordan graduated from George Pringle High School and joined the family business. While Jordan was busy on the tools working to become a journeyman plumber; off the jobsite, he was also busy learning how to run a small business.
Together, Greg and Jordan have been fortunate to work on many projects, the most extensive being the completion of more than 400 homes in Sonoma Pines. Other projects include Sendero Canyon in Penticton, Stonewater in Peachland and the Tallus Ridge neighbourhood located in West Kelowna.
In 2013, Greg decided it was time to retire, leaving Jordan and his wife Channing to run West Kelowna Plumbing on their own. Through much dedication and hard work, Jordan has maintained the company’s success and reputation of dependable, quality workmanship. West Kelowna Plumbing has now grown to an 11 member team which services major projects and custom homes in Kelowna, West Kelowna and Penticton.
West Kelowna Plumbing strives to positively contribute to our community and we are proud to work closely with Habitat for Humanity on their affordable housing projects. We are also very proud to be a sponsor of our local hockey team the West Kelowna Warriors. Being a small family owned and operated company; we recognize that repeat customers and referrals are extremely important. We pride ourselves on treating all those we work alongside with the utmost respect and consideration.
